| Growing old is inevitable, growing up is OPTIONAL. Kagabi, after a day's work, nag-DotA kami sa UST, Friday eh.. Afterwards, Bunso and I decided to drink some frappés at Starbucks dahil hindi na namin makuhang matulog pa dahil sa mga commitments today.. I thought I would be very careful when I'd start talking to him because of the tension from four hours before, but to my surprise, nagmukhang interview 'yung usapan namin, and it's about Pokémon!!! Yes, two guys in their early twenties not fully grown up, talking about Pokémon, and effing enjoying it! +++ I seldom doubt people, and sadly, I am doubting one now.. I once thought he had faith, blind faith in me whenever he seeks advice from me.. And whenever I advise him, I thought he heard me.. 'Yun pala, he was just working on earning my trust.. As to why, I have no idea.. Madali akong magtiwala sa tao, too easy that now I am having this kind of realization [or anti-realization, if there's such a word].. I think I should learn to trust less, but I just simply don't know how.. The person I am talking about here seems to have been always in pursuit of growing up, and I easily trusted that pure intention [I did my best to be always there as well, too].. But again, growing up is optional.. I advised him often, pero to no avail.. Ngayon, napapaisip na lang ako, "lumabas lang ba lahat ng 'yun sa kabilang tenga n'ya?"+++ One thing about growing up is the fact that it is SELF-DEFEATING.. Trying to be mature? Even more so.. Actually, the thought of trying that means acknowledging immaturity, and acknowledging immaturity is not a good thing for it invites you to indulge in it.. That, and the fact that maturity is NOT something you try on for size and disrobe when you didn't like the color or when it didn't fit you or your lifestyle.. Here's a list of what I would like him to at least try to be: Responsible Understanding Truthful Responsible Wise Confiding Responsible Honest Sincere Oh, and did I mention responsible?

I'd like to thank Sam Medenilla for acknowledging my silence throughout the 'discussion' last night.. Nu'ng nagdo-DotA kami, he realized why I kept quite.. It's because I help by helping, not by being self-righteous, irritatingly dishing out intellectual crap on what to be done in that kind of situation.. In the first place, wala naman tayong authority to even think of doing such.. C'mon guys, dumaan na tayong lahat d'yan.. It's their ordeal, not ours.. 'Wag na nating paguluhin pa ang sitwasyon by trying to help.. Ayan na naman yang takteng 'trying' na yan e! Haha.. Magulo na e, 'wag na tayong makisawsaw pa.. Let's just have faith on the ones in charge -- faith that is not blind, but real.. | |

| Just finished Kyle XY Season Three last night/dawn, and it was depressing to realize that the supposed Season Three ender-slash-cliffhanger is actually the ACTUAL END of the series!
Kyle XY has been a great part of me, from decision-making to even using Kyle's deep but mellow and soothing voice whenever I assume the Eucharist's lector. And now, the series ended [abruptly and rather vaguely, so to speak]. I feel like a child who lost my favorite toy, with that child's favorite toy being his ONLY toy.
But for sure, I would never forget the lessons that this navel-less superhuman taught me, the realizations that he did every start and end of each episode: of loving and being loved, of unknowingly hurting oneself in order to protect others, and of cherishing the people around you by being yourself around them. Oh, you can very well tell that I am affected by this series, too affected that I am admittedly depressed right now.
Anyway, the show's over [until goody Mr. SyFy hopefully picks it up and continues where ABC halted it], but life goes on. I would like to thank and congratulate the team behind the series, especially Matt Dallas and Kirsten Prout, Kyle XY and Amanda respectively, for being such a wonderful on-screen couple who know what faith really means; the Tragers, Lori [April Matson], Josh [Jean-Luc Bilodeau], Stephen [Bruce Thomas], and Nicole [Margeurite MacIntyre], for being an amazing family and providing Kyle the best environment to live in and enjoy every single moment of his life outside his pod; to Declan [Chris Olivero], for being Kyle's best friend and believer; and Jessi XX [Jaimie Alexander], for loving Kyle more than herself and being his opposite-slash-counterpart.
And to properly end this blog entry, here's what Kyle has to say about memories, for I'm pretty sure that this series is one of those memories I will open again and again in order to fill myself with happiness:

| I am forgiving you now, but just this once.. I was waiting for you to sort of 'confirm' that I accepted your apology, but to no avail.. For me, apologies doesn't end with saying sorry, it's only the Means, a third of the equation.. I'm waiting for the End of it.. For me, the Object of an apology is to be forgiven.. The Means, how you achieve your Object, is of course by asking for forgiveness.. It shouldn't stop there, though.. You need to reach your End, when you know forgiveness is granted to you.. People think that the End comes from the person from whom forgiveness is asked, so people at fault stop at the Means.. That is a misconception.. To complete the three variables of the equation, in this case the Apology Equation, the person at fault should at least give those variables their corresponding values.. And the values needed in this Apology Equation [based from the Seven Catholic Virtues as opposed to the Seven Capital Sins] are as follows: Object = Humility and Chastity [of the mind]
Means = Kindness and Temperance
End = Charity, Diligence, and Patience Yep, there are three values, in this case Virtues, required for the End variable.. Emo na kung emo but this is where my faith lies.. | Here's my supposed beginner entry for Worth1000, a redesign of an everyday truck using Adobe Photoshop.. However, by the time I finished my redesign, the contest was over [holy s***, I know, since the supposed beginner contest only lasted for a day, and being in the Philippines, I am at a big disadvantage].. Disappointed as I was, I just placed the design on my Worth1000 account, hoping it would get the attention it deserves. Kaso, tinamad na rin ako sa website na 'yun [sayang kasi if ever the time comes and umangat na 'ko to competing in advanced contests, may prizes na involved na, pwede pa akong i-contact ng mga tao to do paid freelance work]..
